Thats a very very good question!!! Very often i heard people say that they like their first baby to be boy... In my country, i know some people who still dont want to give birth to girls and also i know some people who have daughers and sons; and they usually neglect the daughters or always loving their sons more than the girls...
I hate those types of people...
I have a cousin his first baby was a boy; his wife got pregnant again and the second was a girl... they were so upset that they even wanted to give the baby away!!! Just imagine... and their third child was a again a girl... but whenever i visit them or they visit me; i can see how they love the son more than the girls and i feel like i want to ask them whats the matter and just slap them...
Anyway, personally, i would love to have a baby girl... and my husband share the same feeling as mine!!! But i am sure my in-laws would love to have a grandson because they have only grand-daughters!!! Still i would love a baby girl koz they are so nice, cute, caring and gentle...

Luckily most peoples nowadays don't care too much about the gender of the child. Maybe more women now already hold an important post in the government. And more women achieving higher position in big company. And more women become more independant and own their own company.
And if we talked about women will leave their parents to live with their husband, it also applied to men as well. Not many married couple will choose to stay with in-laws. Most parents prefer their children to be more independent in life.
Time changed. Peoples changed.
