I am currently working in the city. i am currently renting a place not so far away from my workplace. It is only 5-10min ride away from work. So I am away from home during the weekdays. However, every Saturday morning I am taking the very first ride home to my parents place. I rarely stay over the weekends in the city. I rather go home to my parents than staying in the city over the weekend. Food at home is much better than those in fancy restaurants and fast food chains in the city. Though it is one long ride back home, but it is definitely worth it in the end. When i was still in college, I went home only after three to four weeks. I haven't got the time to go home every week when i was still taking my bachelor degree. Considering the fact that i am an only child, my parents want only the best for me. at times, i feel like a king when i am at home with them. of course, i do my part on chores as well. No special treatment when it comes to helping my parents out. as a matter of fact, when i am home with them, i don't just lay around doing nothing, i keep the house clean and green. Taking out the dogs, sweeping the floor. the simple things.

When I was 19 I moved out of my moms house (I dont have a relationship with my father) and it was a big mistake. I was too young and thought I was ready to leave but I wasn't. In three months I ended up moving right back home. I recently moved out of my moms house again and have my own apartment (I am now 24). Since I waited a few years before moving out again I have had a chance to grow up. I now live 3 hours away from my mom but I am okay with it. We talk on the phone 2 or 3 times a day and I am the happiest I have ever been.

It's always nice to return home to your parents and the life and surroundings you've been brought up in and are used to... and yes, especially Mum's home cooking. It's also nice to get a break away though and find your own feet, whilst learning about the rest of the world. I hope you had a good and educational time away, but know that you're very happy to be home. Brightest Blessings.

Its always nice to rest under a secured shelter. Love and support of parents are like permanent shelters and theirs nothing like mothers cooked food. I stay with my husband and kids much away from my parents and even if I speak to them daily I still keep missing them all the time.

I spent about 8 years in larger town in my country, because I didn't find a job nearer to my parents' house. I did not miss my mother cooking (I'm vegetarian and my parents like meat), but I missed common living in countryside, whereon I was used to from my early childhood. Few years ago, I found work, which I can do at home, and so I returned to my parents house and I really do not miss this larger town where I was working before:) Everytime when I work in the garden, listening birds' singing, feeling the breeze, talking about some apple tree with my dad (he loves apple trees) or about some flower with my mom (she loves flowers) - Everytime I'm glad where I am now.

As of now, because I'm still single I live with my parents. In other countries, there comes a time when a grown up would separate living with their parents. In addition, living with their parents at the age of 18 would be a big deal. However, for me I believe that there's nothing wrong with that. I mean, living with your parents when you're at "legal age" doesn't mean you're not responsible enough with your life. I believe that it would enriched your relationship with your parents. Hey, as long as your happy living with them, go on. It's okey. Live life to the fullest and with your family is happiness.
