Dora the Explorer or Go, Diego, Go?

My two year old son watches both shows on NickJr and when I asked him which show he likes better he said Dora. Do your kids watch both shows and if so which one do they like more? Which one do you like more? I like Dora better, I know they came up with Diego for boys but we like Dora better anyway.

I like both shows. I think I like Go,Diego,Go better. The only thing I dont like about them is how much repeat things. It drives my grand daughter crazy too. She tells the tv okay I get it already.

supposedly they do that so the younger kids remember, i don't know if it works but i agree it can be a little irritating sometimes.

I have two small children that watch both shows also, a boy and a girl. They both prefer to watch Dora, but my son sees any Diego merchandise in the store and he gets so excited. My daughter has the full out Dora bedroom, so at 4 years old I'm hoping she doesn't outgrow it quick, as all this stuff is expensive. Have you noticed you can buy pretty much anything with Dora on it?

yup our son is the same way, we even own some Diego toys, they are more suitable for boys then most Dora stuff, like the talking rescue truck he has.

My sons watch both but like Diego better. We are all about animals and so is diego. They like to learnb about all the animals from him. We watch it together. Its a very good show for small children.

I agree I think both shows are good for small kids, I know mine enjoy them.

My 20 month old daughter watches both of them sometimes. But she loves watching Dora, she loves Dora. Thats the only name she knows how to say. Everytime she sees Dora, she calls out her name and points to her. She has a lot of Dora toys, clothes, shoes, and snacks. She is a big Dora fan, and I like her too.

I don't really care for either, they both annoy me, but Dora is slightly better. Even if it is more girly.
None of the older kids ever liked Diego.
