Happy Mother's Day

It is almost mothers day..what have you gotten for your mother? If you are a mother what do you want for your day?
I will call my mom on Mothers day..and for myself, I just want to be able to spend a day with my kids without having to listen to them fighting or arguing! Not to much to ask for, right?

Happy Mother's Day! I hope you all have a great day on Sunday.
I bought my mom a Mother's Day card from me and a "grandma card" from my son. We will go out for pedicures that morning and dinner with the family that evening. Most likely we will have some good Italian food from Carrabba's. As for myself, I don't expect much from Mother's Day. Being a mother is a blessing and gift within itself.

I am getting cards and plants for my mom, my stepmom , my MIL, my grammy and my x,s mother who is my first borns grandmother. I want to go shopping for some new cloths and spend the day with my kids!

You have a lot of mothers to shop for.
Hope you ave fun shopping for yourself. I love going shopping but can hardly ever find clothing I like for me.

Both my mother and mother-in-law are dealing with cancer and chemotherapy right now and I'm hoping to be able to make the trip to our hometown (where both of them live) and visit on Sunday. I haven't thought much about what I want for myself. I'm concentrating too much on how we're going to travel and get to them! Hopefully my kids will behave for the trip.
I do know my son's school class put together a special presentation for the Mom's. I'm heading there today after work!

Happy mothers Day to you.
A trip to see your mother and MIL sounds like a great gift in itself. With them both dealing with cancer you do not know how much time they have left..and time is better than any material gift.
