Seems that's new to me, can you explain further, how it will work in Windows XP / Vista platform. I believe Linux is another System Platform.

Iptables is not something designed for vista or any windows operating system. People using non windows platforms do not have as much security concerns as windows users.

I use Norton Antivirus for the following reasons:
1. It has the best and easiest to use interface of any product or piece of software i have ever used
2. The security it offers is extremely good
3. There are regular updates available
Norton is sometimes seen as bloatware and having many features that are not needed within one product but i have never had a problem using Norton products because of this reason. This pc that im typing this response on is a very old 1.0ghz amd system and i have Norton antivirus and firewall installed and fully updated and my pc runs perfectly well with no problems. Installing Norton onto a modern day dual core system would have zero impact upon the computers performance so i will continue to use Norton for years to come.

Yes, I agree with, so far McAfee and Norton, are the most popular commercial Internet Security Softwares. Why is it so, do you ever thought, they are also the one making those viruses or malware?

Well, its just wise guessing. Just imagine, McAfee and Norton as well could identify readily the identity as well as the severity of a given virus or spyware or malware. Also, wise guessing also, for business survival, maybe McAfee or Norton should go beyond prevention, virus or malware making then protection business, will boost their market in an unprecedented instance. Well, somehow believable, who knows?
