Sure. In Singapore, our infrastructure is excellent. I would say it is in fact one of the best in the world.
We have MRTs - your subway - connecting most places in Singapore. And with the bus and taxi (cab) network, you can get to any place quite easily and within a decent time frame.

Well, it would depend on which country you compare it too... I wouldn't think "crowded" would be the usual adjective attached to Singapore though... it is certainly far from as crowded as say India or Japan.

I am not well enough acquainted with Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, but believe there are 3 underground railway systems in English cities. Most notably, there is Londons Underground, which dated from over 100 years ago. Newcastle-upon-Tyne has a rail connection, called the Metrolink which is underground within the city, but travels above ground when outside, n the countryside. Liverpool has a very small underground, consisting of just 4 stations on a circular route.
Hope this has helped fuel your curiosity.

Hmmm, we have many underground passage for people to walk and cross the road but we dont have underground passage for the train to move. But very soon, we will come with that. Our country India is developing quite fast and i am sure that even this mode of journey will be implemented!

We don't have any here in Austin, TX. I sure wish we did! We have a very good network of city buses, with great coverage. But if there is any traffic, the buses get stuck as well. I've been to a few cities with subways and elevated trains -- New York, Boston, Chicago, Paris -- and love the ease of travel.
