do you know any strong women?

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape ... but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape... A strong woman isn't afraid of anything ... but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear... A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her ... but a woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone... A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future... a woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be God's blessings and capitalizes on them... A strong woman walks sure footedly ... but a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls... A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face ... but a woman of strength wears grace... A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey ... but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong...

Oh weemam, I do not know which one I belong to anymore. I like to be described as a woman of strength but I'm afraid its difficult to do so. I tried to take everything in stride. I pray and read Bible everyday. I like to show more steel and toughness. But I know I'm still a weakling at times. I can only remembered my mother as a woman of strength. She went through a lot but she was still in one piece. Her spirit was still there. But my mother passed away 17 years ago. I can only relied on my memories to copy her strength.

A perfect tribute to women of strength. It has illustrated the women of strength to be far superior than strong women.Mostly we take both to be the same. But the insight here is quite thought provoking.Trust you weemam to come out with inspiring posts always. Thanks a lot Pal.xx

Yes,her strength is unexceptional even she beats man and she is my aunt... She is a Gynaecologist.....her routine --wakes up at 5 am. --Operates 4 to 5 surgeries daily. --Lookss after home. --Looks after servants. --Handles her department in Hospital for longest time. --Ready to face various kind of aukward people --Ready to operate even in Night,if case comes. --Carries all social relations finely. --Above all ,she keeps laughing. --Cause for her stamina is daily exercise and positive thinking. There are plenty other qualities that I can't describe, but She has a steel in her.

With regards your topic we have more strong women than women of strentgh in our modern society. These days women look out for shortcuts and to mee dont come into the list of strong women even. They dont care about ppl around them, relatives in particular, they are busy doing their own stuff, they do whatever they want to without bothering about their responsibilities. They are most of the time busy in having good time than taking responsibilities. By the way it was a very hard question to respond to, im afraid i would not be able to do justice to it, accept my sincere apologies, I just wrote what I had in my head.

Hi, friend, thanks for the reminder that I am trying too hard to be a strong woman, when I need to be a woman of strength. Knowing what you are doing with your life right now, I perceive that you must be a woman of strength.

Yea, Xena. You know her? I think that's her name. She lives in the Amazon forest. Haven't visited her for years.

I think most women I know are strong. They are working mothers without a maid. These women are able to juggle their time between work, children, housework and managing in-laws.

I am a strong woman!!! And I agree with most of what you wrote!!! Faith is very important to me and I would be lost without it! I believe a strong woman is also humble and can show gratitude!

I could be a so called, 'woman of strength' and a strong woman in Christ. For I know that when I gain strength from Christ, I could never be defeated by anything or by anyone because first of all God is my strength and all...if God is with me, who can be against me?

Would a thick-faced, stomach-strong woman qualify under your criteria? If so, we have our president in this country who behaves exactly so.

My mom, grandma, and aunt are strong women. So is my friend, Laura (although she doesn't always know it) and my PCA, Angie, who's single mom and has had some problems thoughout her life but is getting it together. My activist woman friends Linda and Anita also kick butt.

I do not know where I lie as far as this goes. I do know a strong women though. My mom has gone through a lot over the years and has always followed the teachings of the bible. She has made mistakes as we all do but she owns up to them and goes to the bible to find out how to make herself better. She once told me before she goes to bed at night that she kneels down to pray for people. She said that one of the things she prays for is her kids. She has ten kids. Every one of us has watched mom struggle at times and come out a stronger women. I have to say when I look back on the women I have met she comes out as the strongest.
