I don't think he's implying the angels are vulgar, just to post a nicer looking image but not an image which is vulgar. But if people are rating negative because of one's avatar it's simply lame to begin with, for stuff like that happening without a doubt though I care less about the rating system to begin with.

Touchnshine, did you even see his picture? It was a picture of him flipping the bird - he had no idea what he was talking about, and he had no right to imply that your picture was vulgar. In fact, his picture is the one that was vulgar, and he should probably be reported for it. Regardless, there's nothing vulgar about your picture. Similar pictures adorn the walls and ceilings of the Cistine Chapel and other relgious monuments, and no one has had a problem with it. Seriously, don't let what that kid said get to you. It was a hypocritical thing of him to say, and again, I'd like to stress that you're avatar is not vulgar. It is also not the reason you get negatives. A word of advice, avoid hypocrites...their word is as worthless as the dirt beneath your feet.

I can see they are two little angels, we will call them. I did not find any problem with that. In fact, they look so cute, innocent and lovely. It is a matter of personal opinion. To me, this picture is not at all vulgar. I think this needs a little explanation. If some one says the picture is vulgar, it might need a little bit more explanation. I feel if we have an opinion about anything, we should come out clearly and with full justification.

I will tell you whats the matter. The pic of yours is confusing, it is really a good pic - but when seen maximised, when reduced toa scale what it appears as an avatar it looks like two naked people. The wings are not that visible you see. The wings of right side baby are almost hidden! I suggest you to change your pic touchshine. Your pic is nice, but it takes good eyes to see it!

Nothing wrong with your avatar - it's quite cute. There probably are some people dumb enough to rate someone negatively for their avatar but I can't see why they would do that with yours.

That was simply a childish response from him, and I notice that quite a few members made comments to the same effect about his post. There is obviously nothing wrong with your avatar. If someone did post a crude or vulgar avatar here it would probably get very little attention. A few members may make comments about it but it would not generate negative ratings. A negative rating is normally reserved for a response that has no relevance to the subject or an unreasonably offensive response.

hmmm if we base how we rate in avatar i think that kid will be getiing a lot of negative rates as i can see his avatar is vulgar compared to you. I dont see anything wrong with your avatar and mostly i dont base the rates on pictures. Mylottian based their rates on how quality of responses they contribute and it has nothing to do with the avatar we put. Perhaps this kid used to base his ratings to picture alone and dont read the discussion at all. like for instance a person who is reading a magazine which actually dont read but just looking only on pictures...lol... he is kinda like that. Well anyway my advice is just ignore this kid and dont let yourself bothered by it. Its his opinion and just leave it if it is nonsense at all. Godbless!

The response that you received from that member was indeed quite odd. I don't think he understood the question at all. I am glad to see that you handled it without getting mad and upset with him. He has only posted 19 times so he is not very experienced at this site. Maybe he will read the postings better in the future.

Very strange reply.But its not the true fact to mark someone with negative.i feel its the content which requires positive or negative marking.Its just our avatar ..we one can comment about that in the space provided in our profile page.

no buddy... ur pic is not vulgar at all... I think that someone might be rating you negative coz he might be jealous of you... That can be the only reason behind this... Otherwise i can't see any faults in ur discussions.. nor on the pic..

I would hope that someone is not rating a person on their avatar. A rating should be based on content and quality.

The person who answered you must have a twisted sort of mind. I looked at your avatar and wondered who painted such a lovely picture. As others have said, if people are rating you on your avatar, there's no point in trying to have a discussion with them.

OK - well I have looked at your avatar, and I don't see anything wrong with it at all. It is just two angels - and even if they're wings may not be very visible, that still makes it just two little boys. And for goodness sake - what the **** is wrong with the naked body anyway? It is normal and natural, and beautiful - especially children. You only have to look in the art world to see work like Michaelangelo's "David", or Rodin's "The Kiss". So please don't give this daft poster another thought! And his avatar is appalingly vulgar to British eyes - so why does he dare to criticise yours? Cheers.

In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with your avatar. It is two little angels :-) Your avatar is cute. A person who thinks that it is too vulgar doesn't understand about arts. Perhaps, he is the one who has a dirty mind/vulgar (LOL)

I hardly ever use the negative rating feature, only when absolutely necessary, and I think it's wrong and unfair to rate someone on their avatar. I only rate negative if someone cheats or is abusive to others.
