My user name is my nickname. I was a goth way back in the late 70's when it first started and now, at 55 years old, I am still a goth, hence the name - recycledgoth

My username doesn't really have any deep meaning for me, it's just a name that seems to have stuck with me! Years ago, a load of us girls stayed over at a friends house, and in the morning, we made cups of tea, and grabbed the biscuit barrel. By the time the tin got to me, there were no biscuits left, just a thick layer of crumbs at the bottom... so I got a spoon and I ate the crumbs! And the name MightyCrumbGirl has stuck ever since! x

I chose my username for Mylot because it is part of my email address. It is also used for many other wbsites I am joined with also. I chose to use it because it is the same one that I am used to using for everything that I do online. My name is part of my first name plus initials for the rest of my name, that is why I like it and it is easy to remember.

hachimitsu is Japanese for 'honey'
To be honest, I'm not very fond of honey, the taste or the color or the way it sounds in English. However, in Japanese, I really enjoy the sound of the word. It is also the title of an album by a favorite band, Spitz, and part of the title of an anime I like (Hachimitsu to Clover / Honey and Clover).

Bee is the name I prefer to be called (most people cannot pronounce my foreign first name correctly - so it gets old). But its too short for a nic, therefore I added the year of my birth (1955) next to it. Real simple and not creative at all! LOL!

I was sitting at the computer desk and my fiancee (who's addicted to energy drinks) had left an empty can next to the keyboard. The drink was Coffeeshot. And a screen name was born.
It's interesting to find out how people get their screen names, for example the first lady who said her name is her son's initials and his birthdate, but to everyone els it's just a bunch of letters and numbers.
I also think that one's screen name can be an insight into their personality.

I always assumed you were an avid coffee drinker from your screen name. But I like it. it's simple, and easy to remember, and gives you a bit of character.

I chose it without thinking much. My name is Moumita Mazumder, and I thought that if I use that together as the username, then that would be easy to remember. My name Moumita means mustard flower in my regional language Bengali.

My username is a nickname that I use on a lot of sites. The story behind the nickname is kind of long, but suffice it to say that it is mostly a joke. I'm really not very scary at all; spooky would probably make more sense. But nicknames have a tendency to stick, even when they're silly! :)

My MyLot screen name reflects my heritage. I'm a Canadian citizen living in Canada, and my father was born in Canada, but my mother was born in Denmark, so I am half Danish. I consider myself a Danish-Canadian.

That's pretty cool. It's fun to have heritage. I'm not sure I could have done the same, or I would have been a germanscottishnativeamericanwhoknowswhatelseIhave for a screen name. And I dont think I could type that twice! :)

My MyLot user name is my first two initials and my last name. Works quite well for me. I like it because it is real, as opposed to these fancy made up ones, and it is very easy to remember. Though in all honesty I could have probably just used my real name, and no one would be the wiser.
