Alright now first it was the tick coming in my house the other day and now there are ants coming in my house from the windows. Its just getting warm out so I guess they are looking for something to eat at my house. Well Im not inviting them for dinner let alone breakfast and lunch.LOL I just sprayed ant spray all over. I think I got them. Any advice on these creepy little ants? I just got over the itching when I thought I had ticks in here and Im itching all over again!

There are lots of ants here during last few years and some producers started to make "feeders for ants", but they are full of meal for ants which is venomed by poison". This poison works very very slow and so they usually bring this meal into their anthill and food their young by it. In few weeks thinks go better - but after your feeders for ants are empty, some new ant-visitors usually discover your house, and so i recommend to let "ant-feeders" somewhere near the window or near the door all the time.

And these "ant-feeders" are so closed, that any cat or dog isn't able to get inside it.

They sell this poison that looks like honey. You can pick it up almost anywhere. You pour it on a paper, just a drop. Millions of ants come to eat it, and take it back to the queen, and that is the end of them. Spraying will not get ride of the problem, as they must get sick and take it to the Queen ant. You can also put borax on the outside of the windows and under the door, and they get sick trying to get over it. Good luck sugar.

i would suggest that you get a chalk and mark you place.literally draw on a place where the ants are and they won't cross where the chalk marks are.it works and we have been doing this since time in memorial.

lol! i am not kidding.it's worth a try .get them in any store that sells chalk sticks use for classroom blackboards and just smudge them in your cupboards on your kitchen tiles.if you want to try it, choose one place and see.and if in some places there still ants and you do not want them to get into any jars, temporarily, put them jars on a plate with water so the ants can't get to them.anyway , they will not be always there, they are seasonal visitors.these are just suggestions.

Oh Terry, I am so sorry to hear this! We had an ant problem on our side porch/deck for the longest time. What finally worked for us was to put Borax around. They are poisoned by it. I hate the smell and breathing the fumes of ant spray! Of course, I believe that the Borax is not good for dogs/cats so one must be careful where they place it.

yup really good advice lol....we went on-line and looked for natural ways and came up with baby powder..we put it around the three places we have seen the ants entering the house and have not had one in over four days!!!! so put a pretty thick layer of the powder and see what happens..they say the ants won't cross the line and they haven't so far here..

The ants go marching two by two, The little one stops to tie his shoe And they all go marching down......... Opps sorry! lol You could use ant tramps. You could also use 50/50 water and vinegar. Spray it wherever you see the ants. There is something about the vinegar that ants don't like. I hope this helps.

When I first moved into my new place I was having a major problem with ants. Then my neighbour let me in on a little trick. Talcum powder...Yes,I said talcum powder.Just shake it around the areas the ants get in and it stops them fast. They don't like it for some reason.I hope it works for you! :)

Sometimes it's like that all these creepy things getting in your house to look for food.I hate ants too and it is creepy and headache too when ants moving everywhere in your house..and i knew how you feel right now.One advise from me is to keep your house clean and keep on spray everyday so that will prevent them to come more.Do moping with floor cleaner everyday also reduces other insects moving to your house.

Be very careful about bug sprays around pets....also the worse thing to get is baits for ants...they are probably the most poisonous around...if one of your four footed friends got a hold of them...I shudder to think...Maybe something like those sticky roach motels might work...set them were you've seen the ants..they just might go in them and get stuck..

I get them too sometimes and they are difficult to get rid of. The best thing to do is to clean up the areas where you find them as best you can getting rid of crumbs or anything else that might attracti them. Move any garbage cans away from your house. I try to use natural products and paprika, chili powder and/or peppermint work well when spread on any ant hills or trails. You can also use a mixture of boric acid and honey mixed together in a saucepan. Gently heat the mixture and again put it around ant hills and trails. You can also try citrus juice and water to see if that works as well.

Ants is a beneficial insect, they can forecast the weather, when they get a line to escape from the low-lying place, maybe raining soon,or have a earthquake.because ants like to eat sweet food, when you house have this food and don't shut the credenza, the ants will come and eat the food, and then you will hate them when you see the ants .
