Of course I don't know the age group that is reading this, but I lived every moment of the beatles, from their intro on Ed Sullivan,(hold your hand) where the mikes were set up so that you could only really hear Ringo some of the time.
It was the time of the blow by blow career of Casius Clay and they seemed to stairstep their way into our hearts and heads.
Hope you have all had the pleasure of hearing the latest production "Beatles Love". I don't know if it will fit, but my son sent me a beautiful article on the making of that album and I am going to copy it here I think it is wellworth the read:
Sorry I got a message saying I can't paste so if anyone wants to read it shoot me an email and I will send it to you personally ;-{

I came across your topic and just wanted to say I also remember when the British invasion started. I loved the Beatles and all of their songs but I was young so I never had the urge to go to their concerts but I played all of their records and all the top 40's over and over and I'm so glad because of the British pop culture which started with the Beatles on the "Ed Sullivan Show". Although I haven't heard of "Beatles Love" this is new to me, but I will check it out. Thanks for the info. Welcome and good luck here at MyLot.
