I am a great list maker. Every morning I make a list of what I need to accomplish that day. Then as I do each chore I cross it off. It really helps me to get things done. I do certain things on the same days of the week every week. Like Mondays are laundry day. Tuesday is scrub the bathrooms day. Wednesday is baking day,I bake cookies, brownies and usually a pie or cake for snacks and lunch boxes all week. Thursday is move out the furniture and vaccuum day. Fridays I wash our sheets and get everything ready for the weekend. On the weekends the only chores I do are cooking and dishes. This leaves the weekends free for family fun like swimming and picnics.

I think this is a good one and I think it depends on the person. Me I like my house clean but I like to spend time with my kids so I will get as much done as possible while they are sleeping or napping and while they are awake I spend time with them. Then when my husband comes home he takes over with the kids and I start dinner feed us and he puts them to bed while I finish cleaning up. Then we get some alone time like maybe an hour and then start over in the morning. I know it depends on the person and the realationship on what they expect from their other half.

I'd love to be a stay-at-home mom and look after our only child but it isn't possible for now mainly because our finances wouldn't permit me. Currently, my husband and I do have separate jobs but we're still finding it very difficult to make ends meet.
I have told my spouse several times before that I prefer putting up a small business in replacement for a full-time job in the office. He's okay with that. In fact, he also wants us to have a business of our own so that we could always be together with our daughter. Unfortunately, we lack the needed capital to start a business venture.
Our child is three years old now and hopefully, we'd be able to save as much for our daughter's education before she even starts schooling. This way, I could personally teach and supervise her with her studies. I'm aware that preschoolers and children in their NKP (nursery, kindergarten, preparatory) years need as much attention and supervision from their parents and guardians.
Anyway, I guess a great homemaker is someone who is always there for her husband and kids, aside from cooking meals for them, doing the dishes and laundry, cleaning the house, teaching the kids. Somehow, I feel that a great homemaker is more of a superwoman.

I have been a homemaker for some time now. I have a four year old boy and a husband, also. I think a good homemaker makes sure the house is clean and has meals prepared for the family on a regular basis. It is good to be awake when your husband is going off to work. It helps to make him coffee or breakfast to help him out. Just being dependable and always there for your family is my idea of a great homemaker.
