Week One weigh in at weight watchers : Loss or gain!

Well as I have said in a previous discussion, I joined weight watchers and started working out. My first weigh in for weight watchers was on Wednesday night. I was so scared that I would only have lost a pound or worse yet have gained. Well I got there with butterflies in my stomach and I stood on the scales. Yes, I had a loss. A whooping six pound loss. Before you say that is too much in the first few weeks you can have large weight losses. The other factor is I have over a hundred pounds to lose. I hope I have a loss next week as tonight my husband took me out for supper and we went to a buffet. I tried to stick to veggies but I did eat to much. I used almost all of my points for the day plus the extra they give you for the week for tonight. In weight watchers all foods are assigned a point value and you get so many points a day. Anyways, just wanted to share my happy news with you all.

Congratulations Linda. Six pounds is not too much. You will lose a lot of water at first. I am still losing weight. I just bought new pants two weeks ago and I put them on for the first time today. I found myself pulling them up all day. *sigh*

Thanks. You look pretty small in your picture. Are you trying to lose weight or is it because you are not feeling well?

That picture was taken after I lost the first 30 pounds. I then gained 10 back. I have now lost that 10 and have 10 more to go. My gut is hiding behind a table. LOL!

Fantastic!!! Congratulations and keep up the great work sugar. Just take it a week at a time, and the weight will keep coming off. Good luck, God bless you.

I have to take it a day at a time. I am allowing myself one pepsi a week. You wouldn't believe how much pepsi I was drinking. I have stopped eating potatoe chips altogether and have replaced it with pop corn. I only eat that if I really need a snack.

I am right on track today. I was so excited when I stood on the scale she had a hard time reading the scale from me bouncing around. I can't weigh in until Thursday this week because I have a meeting at my daughters high school about her trip to France next March break on Wednesday.

congratulations!!! I have just started Weight Watchers as well, I started two weeks ago and the first week I lost 4.4 pounds and this week 2.4 and I made my first 5 pound star!! I was so excited! I did put a before picture in a post I did on my weight loss so that it would keep me motivated and honest with myself. I'll be sure to keep an eye on how you are doing as well. I was thinking of changing from the points to the core plan in a couple of weeks and try it out.
