If you are prone to canker sores, too much of anything acidic, such as tomato soup, could be bad. You could get more canker sores if you are eating a lot of acidic food such as tomatoes, oranges, any citrus, pickles, etc. But tomatoes are great, especially cooked tomatoes for preventing some types of cancer, so enjoy your soup -- in moderation.

I do not think so, but those with tonsilitis problem can have some problems regarding excessive consumption of tomato soup as it is sour and that can initiate their tonsil problem and choke the throat, but otherwise it is good as it has good amount of vitamin c and one lycopene content found in tomatoes which has been reported to have anticancer activities.

I don't know why it would be unless your stomach is very sensitive to the acid of the tomatoe. And I think if you make it cream of tomatoe by using some kind of milk it would be less acid. I have read some articles that recomend cooked tomatoe products as being very good for men, especially for their prostrate health.
