i have a pal, he builds computers for kids whos families can't afford them

i'm doing the best i can to supply him with new old parts. i'm running out of sources. can you help?

Business' usually upgrade stuff now and then, you could contact some local business' or technology company. Schools get new computers too, I don't know what they do with their old ones, but you could ask. Or you could just ask around your neighbors and friends to donate some old parts, most of them might have some old pc parts they are not likely to use.

That is great that he is trying to help the kids there. We have someone in Traverse City, Michigan that does the same thing. It is nice when you can find a source nearby so that it can be picked up, but it can cost a lot to ship the parts, especially if you aren't sure if he can even use what you have.
