With the coming of 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, as a university student of Beijing, I'd like to be a volunteer of Olympic that time. Giving you an opportunity, would you like to be a volunteer of Olympic or any public welfare activities? What's necessary for you to be a competent volunteer? I think it's important to have the spirit of tribute and heart. With these two, you can offer serves to others wholeheartedly. What's your opinion?:)

Good question! I would love to volunteer for something like that if I could have the time. I would even consider arranging my vacation so that I could have an opportunity to volunteer at such an event. I think a spirit of generosity and selflessness is very necessary to be a happy volunteer, and indeed to be able to serve others whole-heartedly, but to be a competent one, you must just be able to do everything you may possibly be called upon to do! I think the two are different, you can serve whole-heartedly and yet not be as competent as someone who does not serve whole-heartedly.

Thank you, trinihd! :)
I think you are careful and considerate. It's really helpful for us to make a decision or plan.
I agree with you, my friend. Just like you said, there are indeed some differences between being a happy volunteer and being a competent one. Let's try to be both a competent and happy one! :)
