I have been working for many many years now. I enjoyed most of my working years but right now i'm getting bored already. Many times i tried to quit but since i've no choice yet i had to stick to it for now. How many years have you been working now? Did you ever came to a point that you almost quit your job because you are bored or because your career is no longer your priority. I think a time would come that you'd find your current job is boring you and you want new or different challenges. I think it's happening to me. Is it to you? Wha do you think?

I've changed career path once. No regrets with that decision. I enjoyed the 2nd career I chose and been doing it for many years now. But right now I want to venture into other things again.

We're in the same boat..! I'm actually looking for a new job right now--no matter how slim the chances are. I've been working for a telecom company as a business center supervisor for almost 5 years already and I guess, the long hours and pressure of dealing with irate customers and reaching our sales quota, among other things, are finally taking its toll on me. My family has always been my priority and they are also my main reason why I'm continiously looking for better opportunities. Not that I'm ungrateful with what I have, it's just that I believe that there should always be room for growth or improvement in our lives. So how are you doing now?

Hello thanks for responding. Nothing has change with my plan. I will quit my job as soon as a new opportunity, like what you said no matter how slim it would be, comes. I am just so getting tired of my job. I want to try other things and be the boss of my own. I am giving it one to 2 years and then off I go.

I have found that after a while my job has becoming really boring and repetitive. I neaten shelves at a shop in the next suburb from me. It was ok at first but now i've just done it too many times for it to be considered fun or hard anymore. Any opportunity to do something other than that I jump at. Id rather clean the floor half the time even :P
I think i would probably accept it a bit more if i got longer hours as well, then at least the money side of things would make up for my boredom. I am going to ask about doing that though, if not i may considering quitting and moving onto a new job. If i can find one that is :P
