why virginity is more important for women than for man?

IN many countries,like China, most women would keep their virginity until marriage,but the problem is ,men usually don't do that! so,why? and why do most men ask their girlfriends or wives for virginity,while they themselves don't keep it!

i think because they are all after the happiness and pleasure,, they didn`t think that the virginity is really important for us women,, they are all want to have a pleasure and they take the opportunity if they know that the women really loves them.. maybe we need to be more wise..
