When do you see old people, women in saris run?

It is a very rare sight to see. I see them running only either to catch a bus or to cross the signal. It is rare to see demure people running towards anything. But on the signal, they are too scared to cross, although the red light is on but the noise the vehicles make as if they are going to bear on them any second, people tend to hurry crossing the road.
