Weird question I know. I just don't like it. I like the fact that they are new and that is about it. The new towels in my opinion just don't dry as well as a broken in one. Then you get all the fuzzes from them stuck to your body. So what is your opinion of new towels?

Weird post indeed, about towels.
I tend to agree with you that new towel don't absord as much water as those that are used or seasoned. Oh, those fuzzes, sticking to the already wet body, a rather uncomfortable feeling.
However, I like to use towel from hotel though. I like them being crisp and they felt well pressed and new, even though i don't believe all of them are new.

I agree with you. The little fuzzies are
annoying. I will usually wash new towels
once or twice to soften them up a bit and
to get a familiar smell on them.
Once I've done that, they're perfect.

Not a weird question at all!
I know exactly what you mean!! I love the look of new towels because they aren't all faded and worn looking, but I hate USING new towels. Older ones soak up more water to me and feel softer on my skin.
Also, this may sound strange, but the towels I use to wrap my hair in after my shower are like 20 years old and so thin from wear but I will not get rid of them!LOL! They are my favorite towels ever!

We just bought a couple of new towels not too long ago, and I didn't like them until after they were washed once. The fuzzies were really obnoxious until then. Older towels do seem to dry better, and as long as they aren't falling apart, I like to keep them around.
