Is MyLot a scam?

So 2 days have gone by since I first sent MyLot a message about my post count dropped from over 800 to 0 and I haven't received a response to it. I even sent them a second message yesterday, and a friend did, as well, and neither of us have received a response back from MyLot admin.
I got my payment yesterday of $30 for the first month and a half of hard work on here, but today I logged into to discover that my earnings have now dropped from over $13 to $5 even. I am getting NO credit for the posts I started at the beginning of this month, and they were MANY. I was making over $1 a day on average. The only thing I am getting credit for is my referral money and any pictures I've uploaded.
People on my friend's list can prove that I've been a VERY active member, in fact my roommate receives email notifications about my new posts, and has at least 15 sitting in her email right now from Tuesday night that no according to MyLot no longer exist.
Let me clarify, these are NOT posts I've copy and pasted off the internet, I spent a lot of time at work thinking of new discussion topics for MyLot, I write them down, email myself them and then post when I get home from work, so there should be NO reason for all these posts to disappear.
I'm upset, I'm frustrated, I feel like I've been wasting my time on here. Over 2 months of being a member, and those 2 months of hard work now appears to be all down the drain and the MyLot admin has NOTHING to say about this.

If your roommate uses the same computer for her account then myLot might be concerned that you are trying to run two accounts. You might have to just have patience and allow this one tho work itself out.
There are a lot of scammers and people trying to get something for nothing out there. Companies have to protect themselves as best they can. There are a lot of members here and a LOT of discussions taking place everyday. Give them some time to respond and look into your situation.
You have received payment once, you know this is not a scam.

I may have received it once, but I would have also been due to receive another payout at the end of this month, however I no longer have credit for any posts I've created between the 1st and the 9th.
My roommate and I also have seperate computers, and her account hasn't been affected except by losing credit for any discussions of mine she's responded to. You can view her account, as she's the first person on my MyLot friend's list.. her post count is fairly accurate.
Besides that, up until a week or so ago, I could also go on MyLot at work, as well as the many times I've used my boyfriend's computer at his house to check MyLot, so my account would have registered as being logged into from 2-3 different IP addresses, while her's would only ever show as being logged in from the home one.
I was patient the first day, but now I'm frustrated. Put yourself in my shoes and try to imagine how you'd feel if you lost over 800 discussions and replies and over $8 in earnings.

Wow i've had my post numbers drop a few here and there but I've never heard of anyone losing all of them before. That just isnt fair. I hope they contact you and get it worked out. I just received my first payment also. I need to get working to reach my goal for the next payday. Good luck I hope you get your posts and your money back.

I sent a third message, this time to MyLot payments about my earnings dropped by $8 and they said it might have been due to the posts getting moderated in the moderating process, but as they aren't moderators they can't be sure.
If this doesn't get sorted out, I'll be quitting MyLot since it really has me discouraged.

Yes I responded to one of your posts about losing your 800 posts. I can only say that in my case mylot is not a scam, but certainly it's hard to convince you this right now. You mentioned in one of your comments that your friend and you have different computers but if they are connected through the same line then it's the same IP address.
If your friend also a mylotter then mylot might mistake you as using two accounts. I hope you receive clarification from mylot soon

As I said, I highly doubt that MyLot would have deleted all my discussions based on 2 users having the same IP address, since this isn't the ONLY IP address I log into my account from, and is the only one she logs in from.
It wouldn't make sense to do that, what if someone went over to a friends who also happened to be on MyLot and spent some time on there?

i can say for sure that mylot is a good paying site. i just got 35.00 from them the other day. i was very excited. lol. i wrote them a few times as well and it took like a month to get response back but you have to think of how many people use the site too. how many questions they get. i can say they do pay though and to keep going with the site. i love it here and will be here forever lol

Well I think that the very least they could do is write me a message letting me know that they're looking into my problem.. it's one of the worst almost everyone here has seen.
I know my roommate has messaged them about adding her referral to her account (she gave the mylot.com/username address instead of the referral link one) and she got a response back the next morning, so why am I getting completely ignored when this is a much bigger issue?

It does seem like a waste of time,if they can't even explain why they've taken away so many discussions and posts. That's a lot of work for nothing. I replied to a lot of your posts, and those were taken away as well. A few other friends of mine have had posts and discussions deleted, but yours is the worst case I've seen.

Yeah.. I know a lot of my friends responded to my thread from a few days ago about losing discussions, some ranged from losing one or two, to others losing 30-40, and now it all kind of makes sense. If you responded to a topic I started, since those topics no longer exist, you'd lose credit for responding to them.

What? you dropped your 800 post to 0?.... i don't like to hear this. hmm what happened here lately? guess mylot has changed every rules rite? i've looked around in the discussion... n most of it is about mylot doing something. well i know perhaps i'm a newbie... but for about a couple weeks here... i do feel bout changes.. the discussion. when i joined this at my firs day the discussion took me to think what should i respond..... n i do a lot of editting my words.. n it's not easy for me to find worth discussion, that can make me answer it. but then after lot of comer here... the discussion become some spam... i don't know what should or which discuss i want to respond. that's so sad that u have to leave this ... i don't get my payment cos it's just $5 now.. but i sad if my post is gone... well it's not easy to free your time here.. reading a lot n typing lot too... n finally all you have done just gone with the wind... so sad :( gut lak there.... :)

i feel so down with you. i have lost more than a thousand points these last few days. i have already lost a lot each day of my stay here, but these last few days had been a slaughter. i had written them, too, and i understand that we are to give them something like two weeks to give a reply. it feels so much more for you having been reduced to zero earnings. i can see that among the points i've lost came from those responses that i have posted in your discussions. this is so unfair. i wonder if you can post those discussions of yours once again.

I wish I could.. up until yesterday, even with a less than 500 count I could still copy and paste, which was (I thought) a saving grace, since pretty well every post since Monday I still have in my email (I write my new discussion ideas at work and email them to my personal account as I can't access MyLot at work anymore), but I thought maybe I'd try to repost a discussion that I really wanted to see the responses to (it was about types of birth control and asking people what they used, just in case anyone's interested) and it came up with the error that told me users with less than 500 posts cannot copy and paste, so even that's been taken away now.
I do hope they finally get in touch with me, since this is now day 4 without any reply.. I've lost my rating, my earnings, my discussions, my replies, my comments, my best discussions and a lot of passion for coming on MyLot.

I feel for ya mine been doing the same have not been able to get past 920 will go to bed it will be 940 ish and check later the next day and dropped to 910ish this has benn going on for the last few days not as severe as your but still going on and my earning have lost over $2 since the beginning of the month and i am posting it shows a i make a few cents eveery time but not enought to get ahead go figuire.

Wow breepeace, this really sucks. I remember your post count from a few days back when you had over 800 of them and I remember that quite clearly.
I really don't know what to tell you to be honest. Maybe wait till after the weekend is over to see if you get a message response from Mylot, because I seem to recall someone saying that admin don't work on weekends.
I have to admit that the number of posts I've seen recently from disgruntled members saying that they had their posts drastically reduced has me worried.
I don't think Mylot is a scam. However, I think they're having serious problems and are trying to fix it without having to tell members that things are skewiff. Unfortunately, it's gone well past the point of being able to hide it any more.
I hope that Mylot will respond to you. They at least owe you that.

oh, my dear frined, I am very sad to hear it, maybe there are someting wrong with you , you know , it maybe happened to you and everyone, just conctact with mylot stuff, and try to explain it, I think no one will kill your hard work of two month, this things are not arrowed here. do something more for it, I think you will get a fair treatment.

scam or no scam, incidences like this will surely dishearten the affected ones. i must admit that i am considering playing it slow from now on. i will work towards reaching the 5000 mark and i can have my leisurely time around here from that moment on.

I joined MyLot recently and i've a number of posts already and i'm really enjoying it... I joined in because of a friend and she told me that this is a great site and i trust her. I think MyLot is for real and i do hope you get everything sorted out...loosing that much is really frustrating i can't imagine how you feel right now...

That is very upsetting and discouraging!
I can only imagine how you must feel, I have over 500 posts and I would be devasted if they all just disappeared.
I hope this problem is solved soon for you, keep us updated I would like to know what happened myself, I really have no suggestions for you on why I think this could've happened, just be persistent with mylot admin. to find out why this did happen to you.
