Are you happy with the role Dhoni is playing??

I would like to see Dhoni as hard-hitting batsman, not as a person gathering One's and Two's; I hope he'll become his original self after some months atleast! Ofcourse batting at No.3, he is feeling lot of responsibility and is struggling hard to stay at the wicket, which is against his natural attitude. I hope to see an attacking batsman in Dhoni soon again.

Now dhoni playing in one down position for india. everyone know that it is the most important position for a team because if one of the openers get out in early overs he should play as an opener.if the openers gave the team a fine start he should keep that run rate also. so while playing in that position nobody can play in his nature style. he could only play for his team according to the situation. after sehwag got out he played an anchor's role so he can only manage to score at the strike rate of 67. but when he played that slow innings gambhir attacked the bowlers because he was the set batsman. so i am happy with dhoni that he had played for the team according to the situation.

Dhoni has done a super job.Because in the ist ODI he has played a vital innings that has changed the whole series.Everytime you need not play the attacking game.But sometimes he can come at number 3 position not every time.

I agree with all of you that there isn't much sense in sending Dhoni at number 3. There are a lot of players who can do that as well. India needs somebody like Ponting or Clarke to bat at number 3. They score runs at a strike rate of about 100 and accelerate in the end. India must find a batsman like that and that could contribute vastly to the team. Dhoni can develop into such a batsman, but he isn't utilizing his full here ! Initially he can score at a slower rate and pick up during the latter part of the game like how Mahela Jayawardene does or instead he can belt all the way from the beginning till the end.
