ST Anger was agood song imo and so was Some Kind Of Monster.
And I love all there over stuff I've got around 30 cds and albums of Metallica (All Albums and extras such as Live, Bootleg, Tribute etc)
They have started recording there new album and i've seem those two songs on youtube.
I'm looking forward to the new album.

how can you say St Anger sucks? your just following everyone elses opinions have you ever sat down and listened to the words in the songs they mean something and theres still talent there your just jealous because you will never be in the monster that is metallica ! lol

There are 2 new songs (so far, they've been referred to as "New Song" and "Other New Song"), both of which have been around since sometime last year. Metallica has played them both live in Europe and Asia (since then I know they played at least 1 of them in the U.S.), and I like both of the songs pretty well.
I can't really think of a good way to describe them, other than it sounds like Metallica is going to make a good album. The songs don't remind me of their older stuff like MoP or RtL, but they don't remind me of any of their new stuff (Load, Reload, St. Anger) either. I guess it means a new sound for Metallica (yet again), and I can't wait to hear more.

By the way, Metallica started recording for the new album in March and it's supposed to come out later this year last I heard.
