Have you ever hidden from your parents when you knew they were looking for you

When I was about 8 or 9 years old, I was over at a girlfriends house on the same block I lived on. We were playing with Barbies and eating potato chips. I was having such a good time and I ended up staying there way too long, while I heard my neighbor friend and parents yelling out my name, looking for me. I was having so much fun, I just wanted to stay. I think that was one of the first times my dad ever really scolded me and I never did anything like that again for awhile.
