My Neighbor

I would tell you to call animal control but this person is your friend. You should tell them to clean up after their dogs. Personally, I think it's not right that they are letting their dogs run loose in the first place. I'm pretty sure NJ has a leash law and what they are doing is illeagal but if you're not going to pursue legal action then you should just ask them to clean up after their dog. I might even hand them a bag. LOL

No, it is not right, I have 2 dogs, we walk them and clean up after them or they go in the yard. I do have a few suggestions, I had a neighbor who did the same thing, he let his dog out, dog came straight to my front lawn and pooped. I pretty much knew the time, so I went to Wal-Mart and get an air horn, found in sporting goods. As soon as the dog came on my lawn, I would get as close as I could with the air horn and zapped him. He started stopping on a different neighbors lawn. Or just pick up the poops and return them to the neighbor...my son did that..the poop in the bag, on the owner's front step, lit the bad on fire, rang the door bell and ran. They guy went to put out the fire and got a foot full and he was appalled someone did that to him.

No,it isn't right that they let their dogs run loose. You should check to see what the laws are in your area. You may have a leash law where you can call the cops or animal control when you see animals running at large. No matter what size.

Oh no, it is not right what your neighbors are doing. Letting your dog out to do their poop business on the neighbor's lawn is the height of inconsiderate, tacky, tastless behavior. This is one of my pet peeves, my neighbors take their dog for a walk everyday so that it can pee and poop on all the neighbors yards. It is not on a leash. I am thinking of buying some of that pet repellant stuff that doesn't hurt th dog but the scent repells dogs from your yard. I don't know if it works or not but I wll be trying that soon.
