We are currently in the process of refinancing our home to get a lower rate and take advantage of a lower interest rate. Does anyone have any good suggestions about what to look for during a refinancing situation?

you say that u r in the process of refinancing your home. are u working with a mortgage broker?if so then u need to make sure that they go over interest rate, fees, and disclosures. u also need to make sure that whatever program u are being put in has or does not have a pre-payment penalty. u may alsi want to go over closing cost and apr which deals with the cost of the loan..and make sure that u understand all the paperwork u sign and make sure u get copies. not all loan programs fit your needs so if it something that u don't understand ask before finalizing the deal..and remember u do have a 3 day writer resigen on a loan...which means that once u close u have 3 days to cancel after the 3rd day everything is final.
