15 Discussions 0 Responses...Okay, I give Up on MyLot!

don't give up mylot,it is a good site to earn money,you see that there are many discussions with no responses,you should get many friends and they may post responses to your discussion,and i see your sating very high,so you earning rate also be high.come on guys.

I don't think that it is your personally. It took me a while to pick up a way to do things. I have learned so far that the more friends you have the better your chances are at getting more responses. I was experiencing this same problem not too long ago and once I started adding people I got more responses. Granted I still respond to more discussions than I get responses to but that is ok. Have a little patience and try not to give up. :) mahmah

liyan, I just went to your profile and I can not read any of your discussions because of the black background. A lighter backgound would allow me and anyone else who wants to read about you and your discussion to do so. As for the zero responses I have no answers for you. Maybe some of the Mylotters think that your discussions have been asked or talked about before and they just do not want to respond to anymore of the same questions or disscusions. But as I said the background is too dark to read your discussions. Please do not ge offended.

Hi liyan97! I guess your discussion did the trick. You have over 15 responses for this one,lol. I too have a lot of discussions where i got no responses and have posted a similar discussion where lot of valuable inputs have been given by mylotters to increase your responses. i have the same problem here!!!! even i started similar discussion yesterday asking if there any thing wrong with my tips????. and i got 5 posts, they agree that making friends here in mylot is very important to get more posts to your discussions and that is very important to add posts to members who respond to your discussion to be nice with them and also make your posts unique and easy for other to answer it. good luck. mamounz

Don¨t worry I already opened three discussions, but got only one response. I mostly answer on peoples questions and interest. Maybe some day this will change?

Hi liyan97, I just viewed your own discussions. So far, you had 2 or 3 responses and it is not bad :-). I have a few discusions which really have 0 response (unresolved discussions). I don't think it is a conspiracy (LOL). I just think that my discussions may not be interesting or people don't know how to response it. Or others can't find my discussions. I heard that tags are very important so that your discussions can be found by others. I am not sure about this, though. I prefer to response other's discussions than to start my own discussions. Because I don't get earnings by starting and responding my own discussions. What do you think?

i've experienced that too. but you know what i do? i just don't give up. i'll just start a new discussion but then again, nobody responds. lol! kidding aside, i think all you have to do is wait. maybe your discussions could've turned as hot topics (like this discussion) but then many myLoters post too that your discussions don't get noticed. just don't give up. sooner or later somebody will respond to your discussions. =]

I've been in mylot I think for almost 4 months and I still get only 1 or 2 responses, maybe a few more. Only one question of mine got more than 15 votes. Don't give up, I too have a lot of friends but many are not active on my discussions even though I'm very active on theirs, so not to worry! It will pick up I hope! I think also that not many of my friends can relate to the discussions I do post because they are mainly about parenting, children, child rearing and so forth so... keep on trying, if you want add me and I'll try to help ya out!

liyan97, I think that you are now sufficiently motivated to give away your dicision to give up mylotting. I am the twentysecond respondant to this discussion, I think. So now you are in the track. Go ahead with your meaningfull postings. Wish you all the best.

You are not the only one Liyan, even I don't get any responses. I used to wonder why, now I think I have found out. Have you noticed that people who have made friends on mylot, reply each other and that's how they get responses. It is like you scratch my back and I scratch yours. Ofcourse it is a big CONSPIRACY. lol. Make as much friends as possible, your discussions will go directly to them and being your friends, they will definitely write to you whether they like it or not.

You will make just as much responding to discussions of your interest. Don't give up. I only start discussions when something relevant is happening in my life and I need some outside advice. Look at this discussion....you are getting responses:)

Do you get defeated so fast. I am sorry I never read any one of them luckily I read this one and want to see people with high spirits. Just think of day to day life requirements, shoes, food, shirt, tie, prayer, anger, category of people,travel,mother,father,car,motorcycle,dog. Be a sport and enjoy your life and every possible way

What I have learned in my time being here in myLot, is if you can learn how to build Relationships with others, then they will take the time to want to know and respond to you. That means for me going and finding discussions you are interested in, and Reading and responding to them, and then people like me will take notice, and maybe take the time to read and respond to your other Discussions that you have started. So remember, if you want people to respond to your Discussions you need to take time to respond to others and in turn they will usually do the same.

My advice would be to not give up. Eventually, you will get more creative here on Mylot and start posting discussions that will catch the eyes of mylotters(not to say that your discussions aren't good enough). Well, I don't see it as a conspiracy. Sometimes when I start discussions, only a few or sometimes no one responds. You already have people responding to your discussions. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Hang in there, just keep posting quality responses to discussions that others are posting, make friends with some of the other members, and try to post your discussions on topics of interst to as many members as possible. It takes a while to get started, but the responses will come.

I had a quick peek at your profile before responding here, and saw that you only have 12 friends. In terms of people responding, it might be an idea to request friends with more people so that when you DO start discussions you have more chance of your friends responding. On the other hand though, don't expect them all to reply. We all like different things and different topics, and so not everyone will feel that they can respond to your discussions. The main thing is, don't give up. We all have to start somewhere and build ourselves up. Three months ago, I was where you are now. I stuck it out and now I have over 3000 posts under my belt and just over 100 friends. Hang in there!

The friend path may work and may not work. What will work and is proven on here more than any other is, to keep the topics as simple as possible. Simple, everyday, even some off the wall, funny topics are what are responded to the most on here. I don't know what your topics were about but if you haven't tried "less is best," perhaps you might want to try that before giving up?...good-luck and best wishes.

I looked at the numbers on this discussion, and at your profile page and I see that is changed. I think it is also a good thing that you lightned your background. Some of us don't see colours well and certain combinations of text and background make it impossible to read.
