I know there's a Medicine Shoppe in Kentucky and in West Virginia. I live in Southern Ohio where we border Kentucky and West Virginia and so far I've seen those two.

If you prefer using CVS you can have them price-match. Call around to all the different stores and compare prices on your various scripts. Find the cheapest and then tell CVS you want them to price match so-and-so pharmacy. They will call over there, get the prescription price, and then give you that price.

I have a medication that is on the $4.00 list at Wal-mart. It's $4.00 for every 30 days. My other medication costs me $85.00 per month since it's not on the $4.00 prescription list, but I'm an employee too and get to save 10% on it. Still, the $85 price is cheaper than our local CVS and Rite Aid.

I am very fortunate that my husband is in the military and I have the Tricare plan. My prescriptions are not at all that pricey. Some of the meds that I am on, do cost a bit more, but not as much as they used to when I had my own insurance plan through work. I usually go to CVS, but Walmart is pretty good too. I get my pets meds at Walmart and they are pretty inexpensive. I don't have a CVS here in my local vicinity, so I use Walgreens to fill my prescriptions and they aren't too bad.

CVS, at least, has the discount cards that give you great coupons!

So far the cheapest place I have found here in Pa is Giant Eagle Pharmacy. THey have alot of 4.00 perscriptions and they will match prices with competitors. I will never get a script from Rite-Aid again they are a big rip -off. THey wanted 90.00 for the same script I paid four dollars for at Giant Eagle.

This may not be exactly what you're asking about, but it might be worth asking your doctor if there are generic versions of your prescription medication that cost less that you could take instead. It's possible there are other versions that will work just as well but will cost you much less.
