Either because you love the way the meal tastes or to completely clean your plate or just to eat perhaps. I know it is bad to do, you should stop eating once you are full but sometimes I will still eat.
I always like to clean my plate, when we order pizza I will gorge myself just because the pizza tastes so much better warm than to be reheated later. Cookies are another thing I will eat much of.
Are you in habit of doing this too?

I have to admit I hate to see wasted food and if I have been a bit greedy when getting my food, I will sit there and finish the lot! Then there are those dishes that taste so good and you know you shouldn't but just can't resist that little bit more.
Don't be hard on yourself if you overindulge occasionally everyone does it! Christmas being a prime example!

It depends really. I usually only do that if I haven't really eaten much that particular day and I end up eating my food really really fast, and then I end up eating way more than I should. However, I know my limit and don't eat more than I can handle because it really isn't healthy for you. I try to eat enough to feel full and end it at that.

I always feel that it would be a pity to waste perfectly good food so yes, I'd try my very best to clear all the food that on my plate and not leave anything behind.
But if I'm so full that I'm ready to burst then I'd have no choice but to stop eating. I don't want to fall sick from eating too much! :)

I confess, Im an overeater lol. For a long time I think I liked the feeling of being "full" so it was all too easy to just keep eating. Also like the first poster, I hate hate HATE seeing food wasted. I grew up in a family where there wasnt a lot of everything so we always made sure we wasted nothing.
