Do you have a hard time watching tv shows now that you have kids?

I have a big problem watching shows like Law and Order SVU and stuff like there, where you see kids or adults hurt or dead or suffering. I actually get really emotional even though I know it's just a tv show. I never had a problem until after I had kids. It was tolerable after my first three, but after my fourth, I can't watch that often, or if I do I start to cry.
What about you? Have your feelings and views on this kind of stuff changed since you became a parent?

YES! I can't watch any movie where there is a rape- or anything involving a child- Makes me sick! If I know the movie is about that and I want to see it- I will leave the room for that part. It does affect me more now that I am a mom- I keep thinking Oh my- this could happen to my child. How would I react- Just like the movie- an eye for an eye- with Sally Fields and Keifer Sutherland (He was 1 of my fave actors until this movie)- I would have killed that SOB too! So I watched the movie and was cheering her on!

Not much I still can watch movies that are mature in content. I only have one son and a very inquisitive one. We just have to explain to our son why this happens and give some lessons behind the story. I also give them time to watch their own tv programs so that he could enjoy his time with tv.
