Has your typing improved since you came to mylot?

Yes, I have gotten better. I type faster and don't make quite as many typos. I have been on mylot for a little over a month now, hope I keep improving with time! PS love your avatar. Is that an english springer spaniel?

hm i think for me it's true that my typing skill is getting much faster than before..

yeah i totally agree with you ,my speed has become really fast and i do not have to even check my mistakes.my fingers just glide along the keyboard.i feel like an expert and i think i can beat any good typist at her jod without even getting any training .that way mylot has really helped me and hats off to it.

Yes,inky, I improved my typing speed very much since I joined mylot. That's amazing, now I can respons a discussion very fast.

well since you are getting pay for typing it is normal that everyone is getting much faster because it will make you earn more and more, so start posting comments but I have hear that mylot only pay for comments of four lines or more I dont know if it is truth but anyway I am alwasy trying to type how long I can. take care and thank you for post in my discussion.

Overall, I know my speed has quite improved since I first started in here. I find depending on how awake I am, that I can usually post a lot more responses on here, and start good discussions on here as well.

I have always excelled as a typist and I don't think that my typing abilities have improved too much since I joined myLot. Before I joined I typed 61 words per minute, but I haven't checked it since I joined to see if I'm faster now. I do know that my spelling has improved a bit since you can't type your stuff in word and copy and paste it over until you hit 500 points. I just had to learn how to spell better before I even hit that mark.

Hello,inky261,my typing have been improved hugely since i joined mylot,before,my typing speed was like 30 words a minute with alot of typos,now i have been better in my typing speed even i still have typos occasionally,i think i can type 40 words in a minute,a huge improvement,isn; it?:P

I trained as a secretary so could type well once. Had not used it for ages so got 'rusty'. Mylot has helped me practise and it is better again although I find I still make loads of mistakes when typing here as I am so busy thinking about what to say that I forget how to type it!!! My spelling is appalling recently though. I have to keep asking my teenage daughter how to spell things. I think I must be going senile!

yes a lot, earlier i used to search for keys but now its just in my mind i have read up all the keys, it is as my finger knows which key is where

Yes it has and my english to. But my spelling is not so god, its hard to think swedish and translate it to english, the words are not coming in the same order as they does in swedish. But I hope that you can understand me.

Actually it seems to me like I make more typing mistakes, maybe because I am always in a hurry. Who knows? It's kind of odd that it's the reverse of what you would think it would be.

Oh yes....I'm much faster at typing now and a lot of times I don't even have to look at the keys anymore now.I started out being one of those two finger search and pick people...lol......but not anymore.I guess that is one of the side effects from being a mylotter.

actually, i'm already good in typing because i graduated a 2yr course of computer secretarial and we thought about typing in typwriter then in the computer..and mind you, i'm the best in typing coz i can type at least 45words per minute..and i'm proud of myself..it's a big help for me here in mylot coz i can type faster without looking at the keys, but sometimes i have few mistakes too..

it improved a lot. when i started, i was looking still looking at the keyboard when i type. now, i can type without looking at the keyboard that often. it indeed is a good way to practice our typing skills.

Yes, you are right. My typing has become much faster since I joined mylot. It wasn't too bad before, because I am used to looking up at music whilst playing piano and keyboards. Although the typing (querty) keyboard is laid out differently, my fingers soon seem to have "little brains" in them that seem to know where to go when I need certain letters to be typed. At one time I installed a speech recognition program that would type out words as I spoke them into a microphone, but I found I uninstalled it and carried on typing because I seem to prefer it more.. :-)
