I spend a lot of time on Mylot hitting 30 posts a day. It takes me 3-4 hours a day doing this and sometimes it's more. Making responses is the reason why I'm on for a long time. I try to make my posts as detailed as possible and it ends up sometimes being long. Do you think Mylot is a lot of work? How much time do you spend here? How many posts do you make daily?

I just signed up today and found the discussion I posted disappeared without a trace, is that normal or does it take some time for it to show up? I'm not sure if MyLot is still a beta program, are other users having problems with the same thing? I've already spent hours getting the site up and putting that article together because it wouldn't let me copy and paste and now I have to start over:(
It looks like a fun place to be though. Are you here for the fun and to meet people or solely to make money?

At first you'll find your here for the money, then you'll find that it becomes about the friendships you make in the process.
If your discussion disapeared it probably has something to do with the fact that it might not have followed guidelines, go to the mylot tab and get all the information you need for do's and don't.
you'll be able to copy and paste as soon as you hit 500 points, don't worry, not many discussions get deleted, but you do need to work at this at first, but it all works out, i hope you don't get frustrated and stop coming here, this place is wonderful.

For me it is really time consuming. I spent in mylot above eight hours a day. I am not in a hurry to make my postings. I make maximum twentyfive postings a day. I think thr average estimated as twelve posts a day. I spent a lot of discussions which I find to be interesting. I like reading discussions. Anyway I am trying to increase the number of postings.
All the best to you.

That is a lot of time, and you do not make much. We made a lot more 7 months ago. Well, just enjoy the friendships, as you won't get rich on here.

About a month ago, life got only TOO busy for this site. So I let it go for several days at a time. So before that I was at 20 or more a day. I think it takes 25 to 30 to make progress. So thats about 2 to 4 hrs worth. If I dont have the time its harder. But I shall at least make $13 for May for the June payout. Its my *GOAL* and hopefully a bit more fun money too. Hurray for MyLot ;)

At first I woyuld spend alot of my time here, posting at least 20 post a day. But now I am lucky if I respond to atleast 10. MyLot is alot of work, but sometimes it can be worth wild! I take online classes everyday of the week so thats what reduces my time here, but when I get a break from my classes, all my time goes here.

Yes i agree that being at mylot you need to work quite hard to give meaningful replies to discussions posted. I dont have specific standards on the number of replies i give. I work till i can confortably.

Because they keep dropping my ratings daily, I am getting very tired of it here. There was a time I could make $6. a day for 5 hours. Now I cannot even make a $1. for more work. So, I am on here very little, and skip days too.

Somedays it feels like a lot of work. Somedays I spend 3 or 4 hours here. Other days I only spend 15-20 miuntes. It just really depends on the day and what other activites I have planned for my family and I. I try to use a lot of keywords and good tags to try and help the earnings a bit, but I really think it is just an added bonus to the message board type format and the millions of discussions I can join.

yes m8 i totally agree to what you say its really hard getting money here i mean making posts for the only reason MONEY lol
but i think they should give some more money for images i mean it is less that even posts and after that there is even a limit to uploading images so its really ridiculous well lets see whether i get the first payment ;)

Everyday I would try to hit no less than 10 posts, and the most posts I put in one day is not more than 30 posts. Sometimes I spend several house reading many discussions but give very few responses because I could not find many discussions that I have my own ideas about.

Yeah mylot requires a lot of hard work. If you are a well-rounded person, a wide reader, a good communicator, and a fast typist, then mylot is ideal for you. You could even hit 70 posts a day with these qualities. What is important, though, is to be able to share sensible ideas to others and to ask relevent questions. What I like best about myLot is that it keeps me busy, it forces me to read other's topics and become familiar with some jargons, and of course, correct English.

Yes I agree with you My Lot is hard work
I used to do 50 posts a day but that was on and off my PC al day . I still read and rate all of my responses but I have been well lately so my responses to others have really slowed down
Some days now I am not even into double numbers
I have given up trying to calculate earnings,
I have made so many lovely new friends and although I myself have a very close and loving family , I feel that My Lot is an extended family, have fun here as it is a really nice site xx

Mylot is deifnitely a lot of work - but its fun too. I usually respond to about 25-30 discussions a day (on average). It takes me about 2-3 hours to do so because sometimes I dont find discussions interesting and have to really look for good ones. Those are the times i feel it is a lot of work. But then i find some good ones and feel rewarded if I can share my insight into any particular issue.

Yes mylot is a lot of work if one want to be at 100% positive in it's post, but if you just want to reach the 500 post to start copy and post it's not so.
It depend on my mood and the time I have because I surf from an internet cafe,I've never reach 30,my best was 20 posts.

I make twenty posts every day and upload my photos. I think I spend about an hour doing the posts, and then maybe another half hour or sometimes more to add to that to make little extra. The photos upload very quickly as long as most of them are in the same interest area. If there is one from tihs an done from that it can take up to half of an hour to get them all uploaded.

Wow!
I am going to have to ramp up my number of posts per day. I just started on Mylot and I guess I am averaging about 10 posts per day. I thought that was good but not so after reading everyone's responses. Do you find you make some good income off Mylot? I am quite enjoying it, and the extra income will be a bonus.
cheers
