I just read a book called Kiss of a Dolphin

It is about among other things how people treat handicapped people. It was very thought provoking. The author talked about how left out and isolated they can feel. One thing he encouarged people to do was "just say hello" and look handicapped people in the eyes. He asked me to write a book review on it. I will be doing that tonight.

I have not heard of this book but it sounds interesting, especially since I work with people with both physical and mental disabilities. Fortunately at my job, everyone treats each other nicely and fairly and have not had any problems. I am sure there are those people out there who treat handicapped people poorly and hope that somehow they can be educated to treat handicapped people with the love and respect they deserve. It is terrible that people treat handicapped people badly. I do not think we would like it if we were handicapped and people treated us badly.
