please check below this response box on the left side if you find the menu which says ADD AN IMAGE. if there is such a menu then you can possibly add a photo, otherwise this privilege of adding an image to a response is given to users with more than 500 points.

let me clear out that the response box or comment box is where you write down your answers or comments for the posted discussion.

You won't be able to add an image to your responses until you have reached 500 posts (the number in () by your name is the total number of posts you have made). After that you will be able to add an image to your responses the same way you add them to discussions you have started. Until you reach 500, you can only upload images to the intrest pages or when you begin a discussion.
Be sure that any images you upload are your own property or that you have express permission to post them, or they can get deleated and you can get in trouble with myLot.
