Apple has unveiled the uber cool Apple Iphone early this year and will only be available by either late 2007 or mid 2008. Would you get one? I think I'll break my piggy bank just to lay hands on it!

apparently there are still bugs in it. but it's definitely the 'it' phone. i know folks who like you are already saving up to buy it. saw an advert on mrbrown.com a while ago, on how apple's marketing is so successful that everything they produce causes people to hanker after it just cos the cool factor is so there. But i must say their products don't just look good, they work good too. like my imac!! PC just doesn't cut it.

I also read there were bugs at the moment, but I bet they would all be sorted out by the time it launches. On top of that, I heard that Apple's gonna be loading it with some cool apps. Still waiting to hear what's gonna go in. And I agree on the marketing part by Apple. They seem be the branding guru, unlike Singapore's very own Creative company.

I agree. The EDGE version is passe. Here in singapore, we're on 3G now. Even that is kinda slow if compared to WiFi. So now we're on 3.5G, which is called HSDPA.

It would be nice to be holding on to one of those! Imagine, an IPOD with phone features! 8p But seriously, looking at the design of the phone, I really hope that the button are easy to press. I am currently playing around with the PRADA from LG, and it is horrible! There are no physical buttons for one to press. The whole phone is a touch screen. The "number pad" is laid out on the screen, and you have to touch the screen to get the numbers you want. You have to be precise, or the "buttons" will not respond! Imagine, having fingernails, you will have problem accessing the touchscreen with your finger tips. Using your fingers, you will invariably end up touching more than one button! Writing an SMS is pure horror, cos it takes forever to get your fingers to touch the "buttons" to get your words right! I really hope this is not the case for the IPHONE... else it would be a waste of a beautifully designed piece of technology!

I would love to pick it up! I need to retire my Palm Treo 650, and need something nicer to keep track of my contacts and my calendar stuff. I don't need the music/video features so much, but be nice to have. Hope end of June comes soon. I can't wait!!!
