This photo was taken be the crew on board the columbia during its last mission on a cloudless day.The picture is of Europe and Africa when the sun is setting.Half of the picture is in night.The bright dots you see are the cities lights.

It is very nice. But the more interesting things, if you see that by your eyes in the nature. Yes, i actually see the day and night at same time, when i was travelling from my country Egypt to Newyork in united satat and vice versa. it was fantastic and lovely things i do not seen before.

I think it's fantanstic to see day and night at same time because u can have two different feelings at the same time. I'm glad to have the chance to see the picture u provided. And seeing half of a place raining and the other half dry is also an interesting one.
