I wanted to start this in response to another post on here. How involved in politics are you? Do you follow politics? Do you give money to any part? Do you follow politics at the local level? Have you ever contacted your representative?

Politics is an extremely fascinating element of our society. Based on that statement you can be assured I follow Politics. I am more interested in the Federal level of politics than the State/Local, but I do try to pay attention to all levels of governemnt. I have contacted my Representatives many times. Letting our elected officials know when they are doing a bad OR good job is a responsibility we have as American citizens.

I couldn't agree with you more kram. I hope more people follow in your footsteps and keep in touch with their representatives.

I don't follow politics that much, of course I'm aware of the major things through the news but that's pretty much it. Our system has been quite a mess in the last couple of years anyways because it are 2 totally opposite sides being placed together over and over.

I follow politics pretty closely. I have written letters to all of my federal representatives, and have called my state reps. I encourage everyone to stay in touch with their elected officials and let them know if they are doing a good job or not.
