I work from home trying to create a web developing business now that I've finished college, but I'm not far along in it enough to make any real money from that yet, so I also write for a site ( http://www.constant-content.com/?aref=2932 ) that pays for each article that I sell on there... and best part - they find the buyers :P
So far I've made just over $450, which isn't bad, cause I could make more, if I spent more of my time writing with them. Anyway, how it works is, you write an article, a tutorial, a blog posting or a review, they find someone to buy it, and once it's sold they pay you for it. And there's no limit to the topics that you can write about either.
Check it out if you think you might like it :) Any questions, feel free to ask, I'll try my best to help you out.

This growing trend throughout the country is focused on agents handling incoming customer service inquiries from their homes while connected to a network via computer and landline (no cell or cordless) phone (which you must provide).
There are two distinct business models in this industry: independent contractor or employee. Prior sales or customer service experience is a plus, but not a requirement. Bilingual skills are also an asset.
Two companies, Alpine Access (www.alpineaccess.com) and Working Solutions(www.workingsolutions.com) hires virtual (online) agents as employees.
Other companies, including Willow CSN (www.willowcsn.com), LiveOps (www.liveops.com), VIPdesk (www.vipdesk.com),and the West Company (www.workathomeagents.com) among others, require agents to incorporate, and they're hired as independent contractors.
Hourly wages range from $8 an hour to $15 an hour, which is determined based on experience, skill level, and the specific needs of the client you're serving. Ask in advance how the company pays its agents. Some pay hourly from when you clock in until you clock out. For others, the meter runs only while you're on an actual call; you're not paid for downtime between calls.
Good luck - I work for Alpine Access.

Yes I work from home, and have been doing it since I was a teen! :) I've tried various programs and employment opportunities.
I'm currently making money off ChaCha.com. It's a new search engine where you search with a LIVE search guide. I'm a Master Search Guide for ChaCha, and make a nice chunk of spending money searching the web. I've already earned well over $250. The past two days I've earned over $60.
I also promote free agent/affiliate/business opportunities. I've been paid nice off these too. Just for my Party Store website, I've made over $450 in sales in just one month. Affiliate programs are great, because each on I promote gives me a free website. Feel free to check out my sites below. Each company is 100% free to join. You get a free website to start making money immediately!

I work a part-time job from home, and make pretty good money from it. Recently I also started taking paid surveys also and those are nice for some extra cash around $25-$35 dollars a month. They aren't much but something is better than nothing.

My husband and I have a home-based business that we are working on. We're doing really good with it and my husband will be quitting his "normal" job to do this full-time. He'll be making more money this way and be a lot happier - he really hates his job now...

Well I do some things on line to make money. Is it good money? No but it's money which is better then nothing coming in. So that works out well for me. Yes I'd love to make more and I try to find ways to do it. So far though it's slow going.

After my spouse got laid off from his job, he became a freelance computer engineeer. He got a lot of work from elance.com and guru.com and he ended up having a large network where he didn't have to use elance or guru anymore to find jobs. The jobs found him. People liked his work. He makes around $45 an hour. For overtime and weekends, he charges $50 an hour.

Yes for one company I work part time and average $9-$12 per hour (coding). Most of my income is from affiliate marketing, web design, and freelance writing.
I have worked from home since 2003 and supported my family since then with that alone.
