What is the most embarrassing thing your mom did to you?

First of all, Happy Mothers' Day to all your moms and to all the moms over here! :)
Moms tend to embarrass their kids. Really. There's no exception. At one time or another, moms will somehow embarrass their kid. Come one. Don't tell me your mom didn't do anything that made you wish the floor could eat you up.
So, what is your story? Did your mom kiss you in front of all your friends? Did she tell everybody in earshot a really embarrassing story about you? Did she call you by a seriously cheesy nickname you've already had selective amnesia towards it?
Here's mine: when I was around 9 or 10, my mom was in the framing business. So this local movie star was into painting and she had an exhibit so she asked my mom to frame all of her artworks. It opened on a Sunday in one of the top malls at that time. So my family went there. The actress was there with her husband, who is also a movie star/singer. The thing is, I really admired the guy when I was about 2-3 years old. I have no idea why, but that just proves how stupid I was when I was a toddler. It was a stupid toddler idolization! I didn't even know what I was doing then. Really. My mom drags me around everywhere so she's dragging me around to look at the paintings when she bumped into the actress's husband, my ex-idol. In which phase of my life I've already included in my selective amnesia. So of course there's the usual small talk and stuff. I wanted to go already because it was boring and I was hungry. And then my mom took my arm and said, "Here's my daughter. She has the hugest crush on you when she was a kid!"
I was mortified. Really. I wanted to shoot myself right then and there. Really. Have you ever had those childish crushes that you deeply regret having and find gross now? That was one of mine. Seriously, I wanted to scream. But of course, that's the customer so I just smiled stupidly when inside, I was performing hara kiri.
So how about you? What's your story?

I don't really know how that can be embarrassing, especially making you breakfast in the morning...

I think the most trying thing my mother did was learn to sew. She went off on this tangent that she was going to make all of our clothes. And she was going to extend the life of our existing clothes through patches and extensions and all sorts of things. It was durng the seventies, so she also had a lot of truly horrible fabrics to choose from.
I think the final straw was when she made matching swimming suits for my sister and myself out of polyester. We have never recovered fromt hat one, especially since their is quite an age gap and it just wasn't cute in any way!
