This may be by creating discussions which are interesting and welcome everyone to give their own opinion, repsonding to discussions with informative, lenghty and helpful responses, adding pictures to discussions you create and adding pictures to discussions you respond to - but you can only do this after you have 500 responses. Also picking best responses to your discussions and generally making sure you complete everything you do on Mylot will ensure your earnings increase. Someone told me that MyLot pays between 2 and 8 cents per post. I found out that it made sense. But now, my earnings started decreasing, and I don't know why. Anyway, I think you'll earn more if you post something around 4 - 6 lines in your responses. Remember that it must have a good quality!
