if you woke up naturally without an alarm clock, you would sleep 7 or 8 hours, 9 or 10 hours, or more than 10 hours?

I do wake up without an alarm clock each day and I wake somewhere between 7 and 8 am. I noticed it doesn't actually matter when I go to sleep, I always wake up at about the same time. However I do try to get about 8 hours' sleep :)

During the week I have my alarm clock on so that I get up in time for work. I get about 6 hours a night sleep. On the weekends I don't use my alarm clock (or course) and I tend to only sleep an extra hour or so. But that also depends on what time I went to sleep the night before. Last night it was almost one when I finally laid down to go to sleep. On a work night I tend to be in bed at 9 but watch tv until 10. :)

I think I sleep somewhere between 7 and 9 hours when I don't have an alarm clock to wake me. More accurately, I think that I always wake up around the same time in the morning, regardless of how much sleep I have gotten. Right now, my body is used to waking up around 8 a.m., so I was awake at 8 a.m. this morning, even though everyone else here is still asleep (over an hour later).
