Whats you favourite animal at the Zoo?

Hi Tanika. Like you I am not really a fan of zoos, and haven't been to one for years, though I know that zoos nowadays are much better than the ones of my childhood, and the animals are allowed to roam more freely. I hate to see a wild creature caged or chained up. But if I had to choose one "wild" animal above another, I am very much a cat person, so I guess I would have to say the tiger. I adore their grace and power. I particularly love the white Siberian tiger - they are awesome, and very rare in the wild these days due to hunting, so I guess they are one species that perhaps fare better in reputable zoos. Ilove polar bears too:-))

I like the big cats and little monkeys. Don't like the big baboons with the red butts.

I've always liked the zebras. I thought they looked really neat. The last time Mom and I went to the African Lion Safari, a kind of a zoo type place not far from here, we saw all kinds of them walking down the street, including a pregnant one who looked like she'd give birth any minute.

I think my favourite animals at the zoo are the little children - so wide eyed and in awestruck !! Jaahda

My favorite animal at the zoo is the polar bears. I love to watch them swim and play. I also like the penguins.

My favorite animals at the zoo are the penguins, walking around like little men in smokings you can just look at them for hours and they remain really funny and weird, but definitely a nice sight.
