I saw this in my email box today and I thought I would share it with my fellow myLoter's. If you would like to know more about this here is a link http://www.standingwomen.org/
Hi,
I normally never forward things...but this was sent to me by a
special lady who runs a camp I work at each year for sexually abused
girls.
Many of the women who work at this camp are going to be a part of
this in several cities here in Washington state. I know there is not
time to organize something..but if you are able, please join us where
ever you are.

Here is the message I received:
I don't generally forward many things - but this one is pretty
special. I just had taken a few minutes to check in on the news and
saw Queen Noor from Jordan talking about the origins of Mother's Day
and its importance now. She talked about the fact that it was
originally Mother's Day for Peace and that the need now was for women
to use their strength and belief in the need for peace to speak out
for peace.
Over the past several days, I've received a couple invitations to
join in this action - to stand silently for five minutes at 1:00 on
Mother's Day - to join people in parks, to stand in your own yard, to
sit if you cannot stand and to envision the world that we want to
see.
It doesn't matter where you will be - it is our combined heart's
visioning that will make a difference - and then - when the day has
passed, we can and must work and give voice to our visions.
In Love and peace
I think that I will do this today at one o'clock. How about you?
