It is a universal problem for undergratuate students to think, now the growing number of students to do the part-time job,but it is hard to say wheather it is good for students.
but on my view,if the student's family circumstances is poor,he or she needs money for his or her study,i think they do the part-time job are Ok.Do you think so?what is your view?

I don't think that there is a wrong in a undergraduate student doing part time job though his/her family condition is good.As per me it's better as they came to know the value of money and what is work and responsibilites. It will make them to lead a clear life and undersatnd what a life is and what there parents are doing for them and how they have to repay.

Hi, I am a PhD student and I know that students in theire undergraduate studies have a lot of free time. In this free time most of them go to parties, cafe bars, trips etc. and there are some others that work somewhere part time. The first category has a lot of fun, the second not... but if the student is from a poor familly (like me and I think the most students) it is good to have a part time job so as he helps his familly a bit.

Yup, when it is really necessary to support their studies. In fact, I admire students who work their way through school...they have a good chance at being hired in companies because of the work experience they have had. But other parents who can affort would rather that their children study full time so they can concentrate. So, if it is not necessary, and the parents can really support their kids, then it is not necessary. Usually part-time jobs are made available to poor but deserving students...

I think it's the right time for undergraduates to recognize their responsibilities as an adult. And there's nothing wrong for anybody to work part-time. Neither is it below their dignity to work in coffee bars, shops, malls, etc. It infact enhances the knowledge and people get to feel things around them. It lets them learn about things and how things work in life. That will be a great exposure and one can think about his/her future i.e. what he wants and how to go about it.
