Do you like to make real friends through chat in chatrooms?

I have met some great people at forums. There is one in particular that I chat with most every day. we have become really close in a very short while. We do not live that far apart, but we have still not met. we are both practically housebound so chatting is an excellent way for us to keep in touvh and haver some personal interaction with people outside our homes. We plan on meeting when one of us gets better and is able to go out a bit more.

I have found real friends using chat rooms, sometimes it takes a long time to get to know people but it's good because you can chat on a caht room when it suits you at a time that is convenient, and sometimes, in fact many times, you can discuss subjects that get to the deeper person you are chatting to and it's easier than doing that with someone you just meet for the first time in a social setting in real life. Of course the other great thing is that you are not limited to just talking to people from one culture or background and can instead get to know people from all over the world which is exciting.

Some years ago i was a regular visitor to some chat rooms.I am not a fan of the real meetings, i just need sometimes to talk to someone and to release my stress. Now i prefer to visit forums. This is more comfortable place, because you dont hurry to reply and your attention is not only to the chat window, you can do some other things too.

I met my husband of 8 years in a chatroom and also have met other friends on a message board that I have met in person

Yeah I love to chat specially on yahoo but u know i have never found a friend online i don't know why don't know that i am kind of bored person or what but i alwys love to have an friend whom i meet online and then a real life friend but i never happened in my 9 year of internet chat experience
