it happened ro us before when we ordered this soup at a restaurant and this happened to be their specialty. all of us were excited to eat it then suddenly when we mixed the food, voila! there's a wound plaster there floating and we were so disgusted. we called the management and complained about it. they offered to deliver us another set of order for free but all is said and done. it can't change it. what would you do if you were in that situation?

I would have complained to the Manager and told him I wanted a different starter, and also, demand that he dispose of any other of the soup he had in the kitchen, or I would take it further. If I didn't get satisfaction, I would have sued his butt off!
I'll tell you a story about one time, I went with a friend from work, to KFC, for lunch. This particular KFC had a door each end and both were wedged open. One opened onto the car park, the other into a shopping mall... we sat in the corner by the door at the mall end. Suddenly, whilst we were eating our food, a gust of wind came through the car park door, made the mall door slam and the vibration, brought down a light fitting, and a ceiling tile which luckily only hit a part of my shoulder, but it shocked and bruised me. Pieces of ceiling tile were in our food and everywhere. So, I told Management; the Manager gave me an accident form to fill in, replaced our food order, and also, gave me my money back. That's the sort of thing I expect when an incident like yours happens, because they know that if they don't satisfy you, you can kick their sweet butt all round town!!
Brightest Blessings.

i think i'll get really angry at the restaurant cook.. i might ask for a new one.. or i might just shout at him for serving such food to me.. if i'm not in a good mood.. i might complain it to the health department.. and make sure everyone knows about the restaurant.. usually the restaurant will compensate by offering some free things.. but i think that's not the way.. they have to know their mistakes.. and .. who knows maybe i'm not the first victim? if they can shut everyone's mouth by offering free things.. what happen to those that didn't notice about it right? :)

eww!! that's gross. what did the manager say? like you, i'd definitely complain and pay up (excluding the soup) and go eat someplace else. i'll probably also never set foot in that restaurant ever again after that incident.

It's really disgusting! Especially it's a used plaster. I don't think I'll have appetite to eat anymore after the incident. Though the manager offered to give you another set of order for free, but that doesn't help anymore.
I understand human does make mistakes, but I just can't stand that. Perhaps I'll just pay and leave the restaurant. and I don't think I'll ever visit that restaurant again. It just can't clear from the bad memories.
Did the manager offer you for the set of order free, or the whole dinner was free?

after i threw up?
god..i'd probably call the manager for starters..
what happened after that would depend on how he cared
to remedy the situation, and his attitude about it.
