How long do you spend in the bath?

I think you are only supposed to spend 20 minuted in the bath, i think beucase any longer and your skin starts to dehydrate. Do you stick to that 20 minutes? Do you find you can get a wash in the bath much quicker than those 20 minutes, or do you find that you take amuch longer than those 20 minutes? I love to have a good long soak in the bath and sometimes also like to read a book even, so it would be very rare for me to take less than about 30 minutes, and sometimes i will be in the bath for over an hour! I love my bathtime, it's such a nice pamper for me, so i like to stay in there much longer than needed just to get clean.

I generally like to soak in the bath for about half an hour (sometimes more if I bring a book)... It's just so relaxing, and I always have some yummy smelling bath bombs or bubbles in there, so I like to take my time to pamper myself and enjoy it! And there's no point paying $5 for a bath product that'll get flushed down the drain in 5 minutes!

at first I used to take near about 1 hour in the bath. but as because I have to go to my office so I have to cut off that time. now-a -days I don't take more than 20 minutes in the bath. but on my off days I take 1 hour in the bath. I enjoy bathing from my childhood.

Oh I love taking a long, relaxing bath, though sadly times constraints mean I often don't get as long as 20 minutes. If I can I will be at least half an hour though - I adore to lie in the hot water, especially with some lavendar oils added.

Wow, thanks for justifying my long baths! Now I have another excuse, "but honey, to receive maximum benefits from the essential oils in all my yummy smelling bath treats I have to stay in here at least half an hour!" heehee, I can just see the look on his face now...

Hah!
My family used to call me "the mermaid", because I refused to take anything shorter than an hour. I'd read, soak, play and then finally get clean.
These days when I take a bath I've got so much to do all at once - clean the hair, apply color retention formula, condition, shave legs, shave armpits, do the once-a week pore-scrub, wash with a nice body bar or liquid soap, exfoliate --- all of that takes up to a full 1/2 hour. In my place it takes up to ten minutes just to fill the tub! (*cough*) Well, I do have a very big tub. :)
Then I get 15 minutes relaxation time.
Oh, if someone interrupts my bath? the cycle must start all over again. I must have my full hour or I feel cranky all night and the day after.

Oh, yes - and I'd like to address the mention of dehydration due to longer baths:
WHAT?!
I have never had dry skin in my life. Okay, my elbows could use some extra moisturizer, but - you can't get dehydrated in a vat of water!
That's impossible. ;)

I spend about 30 minutes in the bath most days.
I figure I should get the most out of the expensive bath goodies I buy and not flush them down the drain right away!LOL!
That and I like smelling the lovely bath water and reading a good book while bathing, so I usually get wrapped up in the book and time flies by!

i used to spend half an hour inside the bathroom too...
but felt tt my skin is getting worser due to the long exposure to water...
but i guess it helps to relax us....
the water...
the soap...
the calming effect...
now...
i have a more hectic schedule, thus i only spent ten minutes in the bathroom...
but i miss those half hours session...

I spend around 15-20 minutes a day taking my bath.I don't like to stay longer inside the shower room and always try to make it faster..And that doesn't mean im not cleaned up myself properly. But all i do is try to finished up as soon so that i can shift to my other work like being here in mylot.

I take a shower instead of a bath because I have health problems that makes it hard for me to get into and out of a bathtub. But when taking a shower I'm usually finished in 10 to 15 minutes. I wish I could take a good soaking warm bath. That would really be relaxing at the end of the day. :):)

I normally take a shower, but sometimes I just want to pamper myself and I take a long hot bath. I will stay in there anywhere from 30 minutes to a hour. I love to just sit there and soak and get really clean. Sometimes I read a book while I am in there. I love my bathtime when I get it.

I LOVE baths, i only take showers to wash my hair. I typically stay in there 20 plus minutes myself. I like my baths HOT but sometimes I'll sweat too much and have to get out, but I cannot stand lukewarm water at all.
