In your school days ,were you one of those kids who are eager to be praised by parents or teachers? In your company,do you feel your boss too harsh on you and never said"well-done"to you? Do you care about compliments or praises? Do you think prais words can make us better ,or merely satisfu our vanity?I think yes.what is your opinion?

I too think praise is an important thing because it does make us feel better about what we're doing and about ourselves. It's good to have that reassurance that we're doing something right because we do have a tendency to doubt ourselves if no one says anything regarding the kind of job we're doing. I liked being praised in school because I didn't get it so much at home. I do like being praised at work, but it's getting to the point that I'm apparently doing something right if I'm not told I'm doing something wrong. I had a boss once that jumped down my throat because I smiled when he told me I was doing a good job and compared me to an employee who had no facial expression when he was praised. It was a pointless argument. Just another thing for him to aggravate me about and try to make me mad. But yes, I believe we all like to be praised for confidence reasons.
