I hope all of the Mother's here at MyLot had a wonderful Mother's Day. I sure did. My daughter gave me a plush pair of powder blue bedroom slippers, a pretty night gown and a set of PJ's. I gave my mother the holy bible on dvd, took her for a pedicure and helped my sisters cook dinner for her.I was wondering what kind of mother's day gifts did you give or recieved?

If your mom is like my mom, she was overjoyed by the numerous phone calls she got. Hope you enjoy your game. What's a game cube?

Thanks for enlightning me. My youngest daughter mastered ninetindo when she was younger. I had to buy her super ninetindo to keep her from being board. I hope you have a lot of fun with your game cube.

I'm glad that you had such a great day :) My sister and I went in together and bought our mom a mother's ring she's been wanting for years. Although it's also her birthday and Christmas present too. My mother-in-law hasn't got her gift yet though because one of my sister-in-law's is in a coma with staph infection. She has just went in a few days before it. We were going to take her and my father-in-law out to dinner at our favorite resturant when my sister-on-law gets better. She doesn't need anything and really doesn't want for anything either so we often take them to dinner instead of giving them gifts for their birthdays and mother and fathers day.

My son didn't have much money this year so he made a blog for me. It brought tears to my eyes. Sounds like you had a great Mother's Day.

My daughter and I gave my mom a beautiful hanging flower basket, a tea cup and saucer bird feeder that we made a watering can flower pot with flower (geranium) and a rooster (ceramic) for her kitchen. Plus we had a cookout at our house for me and my mom. My daughter gave me a stepping stone with a butterfly and the word wisdom- I love it- I put it right in the flower bed- she gave me flowers- sewed a cell phone holder? Lol, and made me a basket full of fake flowers- Very nice- It was a great day- we spent it together hanging out while dad and my sig. other cooked our dinner and cleaned up!

It's always nice when you can get a break from cooking. Glad you enjoyed your daughter, your mom and the gifts.

I received a beautiful e-card from my daughter in the UK, and my husband bought me the most beautiful bouquet of roses. We gave my Mom some vouchers to go to a beauty salon, for a facial, manicure and pedicure.

I love cheese cake also. Never had tiramisu though. How is it different from the regular cheesecake topped with cherries?

Now that's really precious. Will you be keeping the card in a scrapbook to share with her when she gets older? I remember when my daughter was in kindergarten, she brought home her handprint that was dipped in paint and put on a card. I saved it and showed it to her when she became an adult.

My youngest daughters all drew pictures for me and told me over and over all day long how much they loved me. My son did the dishes and folded the laundry. My oldest daughter gave me a frames certificate that says world's best mom, a yellow rose and a letter she wrote me (this had become a tradition ever since she learned to write), each letter always brings tears to my eyes. Hubby got me a red rose. I called my mom while cooking dinner and told her I would be sending her package in a few days when I knew she would be back home. She is dying to know what is inside but I can't say since she is a memmber her eon MyLot also.

I call my mom and my mother-in-law on Mother's Day and hubby and I usually try to get them some little something if we know that we'll be seeing that close to Mother's Day. I haven't gotten anything for Mother's Day ever, my kids are 1 & 5 and I guess hubby just doesn't think about getting me anything :(
