i always prefer mrt over bus? It will only take me 12 minutes (8 minute travel time and 4 minute waiting time for the train to come) to go from boni to cubao.

I always prefer the MRT. It's cleaner and I always get to my destination faster. I hate riding our buses here. It's too crowded and dirty. I feel like a cockroach is going to crawl up my legs any minute. LOL. I always feel uneasy riding the bus. There was one time that I rode a bus, I was near the window seat, and I could see a couple of small cockroaches running around. EEEWWWW!

The biggest city near me has buses or trains. I prefer the train as it is faster and cheaper than the bus. London has a system of underground trains. These are usually very crowded but are quick and easy way to get around. It can be a hassle if I am carrying lots of luggage though as there are many steps or escalators. The buses get very stuck in traffic and the routes can sometimes be a bit confusing. I am very keen on travelling overseas. Paris has a wonderful metro. Amsterdam has trams. Singapore has the mrt you mention. I heard some people stuck the doors together with chewing gum and then the government banned it.

I would take MRT to travel to places than bus. I take MRT if i need reach the place fast and when i am in hurried. However, i like to take bus when i am not in hurried. I enjoy the time in bus when it is traveling. I do some reflection and think of thing that happen to me that make my day. I even sleep in the bus when i was very tired. But one thing i dislike is that i don't like to wait for the bus. I remember i wait for 45 minutes for a bus to arrive my bus stop. That is freaking long. I was very impatient and frustrated.

I take the bus because i feel comfortable there. But if I am in a hurry, I will take the MRT... Am I too late to response to your post? This is a year old discussion.
